Visceral fat, also known as the fat that surrounds your primary and major organs such as you heart, liver, pancreas and intestines can pose as a serious problem in the long run. It is a matter of time before health issues such as heart diseases, stroke, diabetes, fatty liver, gout, hormonal issues, cancer and many other health conditions will start to impact your life.

The body weight is made up of muscle, water, bones and body fat. Although you may look thin on the outside, there is a chance that you may have a high composition of hidden body fat in the body known as “skinny fat”. You can still be within the acceptable weight range and still be obese. A tell tale sign is someone showing a prominent waistline.

HIGH BMI OBESE
